Toshiba 47WLT66

The Toshiba 47WLT66 is a full HD TV but suffers for a number of problems that can plague LCD panels

It does colours well, nice and bright

Toshiba making a bad LCD TV these days is an unlikely occurrence, and it certainly hasn't done a bad job with the 47WLT66. Neither is this one of its best, however

Toshiba 42WLT66

The Toshiba performs well at hi-def but not so well with standard-def

Hi-def performance is good, Lower cost than similar models

Poor black levels

As the Brothers wrestle with the enchanted trees, meanwhile, we also detected small traces of motion smearing - and this smearing escalates in intensity quite dramatically while watching standard-def sources, making it one of the weaker non-HD...

If you can forget the audio, the pictures are top-notch

Connectivity, Great picture

No 'by day' EPG search, Nasty remote, Average audio

Overall, while Toshiba must rethink one or two aspects of its operating system for its future LCD TV generation, the set's pictures are enough to keep Toshiba firmly at the top of the LCD premier league

Toshiba 32WLT66 HD ready LCD television review

Toshiba's latest HD Ready Picture Frame LCD TVs stand out from the crowd by offering two HDMI inputs and an integrated digital tuner for access to over 30 extra Freeview channels. Offering a sharp black design rather than the previous customary grey,...

Two HDMI slots, integrated digital tuner

Make sure you've got plenty of viewing distance in your lounge, Auto-tune function annoying if you are planning on using this television as just a monitor

If connectivity is your game, this is one to check out

Toshiba 32WLT66 32in LCD TV

Toshiba's new range of LCD TVs looks set to take the market by storm.

The 32WLT66 completes the HD Ready journey started by its connections with a native HD-friendly resolution of 1,366 x 768 and compatibility with the key 720p and 1080i signals. In common with the vast majority of current LCD TVs, however, this set...

Toshiba REGZA 26WLT66 review

Toshiba's 26in addition to its Regza range looks more like a computer monitor than a TV. It automatically tuned into digital channels, but we had to use the menu for analogue channels.

Toshiba Regza 26WLT66 review

If you're looking for a second television for a bedroom or study this Toshiba will fit the bill. It doesn't offer the best picture or sound quality we've seen, but for high-definition material and gaming it's perfectly capable

High-definition image quality ; Good range of inputs

Freeview picture quality ; Slow remote control response ; Sound quality

With some adjustment of the brightness and backlight controls, it was possible to achieve good black levels and more natural skin tones, but this was at the expense of the overall brightness. In a dark room this wouldn't be a problem, but in a well-lit...

It's a bargain. Great picture quality. Excellent design

Dark areas look a little blue.

If you want an HD-ready TV and you want it cheap, you can't go far wrong with this little unit. Hello Tosh, get a Toshiba!

Toshiba 42WLT66 review

Despite its rather poor standard-definition showing, this is a fantastic screen for the price -- at least for those who have hi-def video sources or are planning on getting some soon. It's compact, easy to set up and live with and is the cheapest 'full...

Full 1080i resolution ; Reasonably affordable ; Two HDMI sockets

Poor standard-definition picture quality ; Plasticky build ; Only one RGB Scart ; Unresponsive remote

Sound quality is reasonably good. There's more bass than you'd expect from the tiny hidden speakers, and the SRS WOW is an interesting change from normal audio output -- don't expect miracles in terms of its pseudo surround sound, though
