Vizio E390i-A1 Review

Vizio E0i series information: The review below is based on our time spent with the 42-inch E420i-A0 TV. However, the observations made also apply to the nine other models in this series. Samsung says that sets offer identical features (save weight and...

Good picture quality ; Relatively slim design ; Excellent Smart TV platform ; Great feature set ; Affordable

Minor white washout on select mediums ; Occasional jitter in fast-paced scenes ; Smart Dimming feature lowers picture quality

Those looking to move into the 1080p Smart TV arena without breaking the bank will find the Vizio E390i-A1 a formidable contender.

Fairly Decent

If streaming over the network worked I would easily give this 5 stars, I can see it can be patched and updated and I hope that this feature gets some serious attention and is updated in the future.

After owning this Television set for two months I have to say I am quite pleased with the purchase ; Built-In netflix is also decent and has been the primary use of television watching when a game isn't being played ; Speakers are actually not too bad,...

Poor implementation of streaming from PC to TV over network. The Menu times out and becomes unresponsive, I have an extensive collection of Television and Movies on my network that I want to stream to the TV but I am unable to ; Not true 120hz,...

Good Deal

It was listed as a refurb, but obviously never required refurbishing. Given the discount amount this was an excellent deal. I'm a regular Newegg customer and will remain so as long as I get deals like this.

Works well, good clean image. Setup was easy (did it without manual). Came in original box, but was obviously a display model as it was still in Demo mode when I got it and had some dust on it. All original packaging with exception of owners manual...

Someone stripped out one of the base mount screws, so I had to tap the threads to clean them up before I could complete the mount. This was the reason for the loss of one egg

Great TV

330$ for a 39 inch smart true HD tv? That's also a great brand? It's a steal. 39" is perfect for me, it may be small by other people's standards but if you're sitting <10 feet away from your TV it's a perfect size.

Everything. Great picture, excellent viewing angle, even the sound is good. I'm spoiled that my first flat screen TV is a smart TV, it's connectivity to the internet is a really really nice convenience ; Can't tell it's a refurb, came in the original...

Fine TV, wifi reception is weak

TV looks and sounds fine for the price. Only issue is that the wifi reception for the apps seems very weak. Laptop in the same room gets fine reception and the tv is lucky to get one bar of signal and keeps dropping and disconnecting from the apps.

good picture quality even for sports, strong tuner picks up hd over the air well

weak wifi reception

Sound is horrible!

Initially, I was thrilled with this TV. Then about 2 weeks later, I had to turn up the volume on a specific station to hear the sound. I was horrified when the speakers began to crackle. The sound distortion is terrible, even when only turning up the...

Good at HD not so good at SD cable

Like the price and features of this TV, this is my 4th Vizio pruchase. In the cost reduction process it seems they have down graded some of the support for great SD cable pictures that still are over 1/2 of our TV viewing time. Picture appears grainy...

attractive great price good hd picture

not real clear with standard def shows on cable
