Vizio M3D651SV

What a difference a year makes. When we tested Vizio's XVT3D650SV last year, we thought its $3,699.99 list price was reasonable for a full-featured 65-inch LED backlit HDTV with 3D capabilities. The company's latest 65-inch set, the M3D651SV ($1,749.99...

Excellent contrast ratio. Wide viewing angles. Very good 2D and 3D image quality. Lots of features

Greens are a little oversaturated. Ho-hum design

The Vizio M3D651SV is a reasonably priced 65-inch HDTV that delivers a bright, detailed picture, inky blacks, and wide viewing angles. It's also loaded with features including passive 3D, integrated Wi-Fi, and scores of Web apps.

Vizio M3D651SV

If you're looking to buy a TV with good bang-for-buck, then Vizio is often a good choice. The Vizio M3D550 , for example, offers a picture that rivals that of the excellent Sony HX850 , but for half the price. But despite having a similar name, the...

The Vizio M3D651SV is one of the cheapest 65-inch 3D TVs available. Its picture offers a fair amount of contrast punch, colors are vibrant, and 3D is very good. There's a full complement of features including a QWERTY remote, and the Smart TV interface...

The big screen is almost unbearably reflective in a bright room. The TV suffers from a blue cast that can't be corrected, and shadow detail is murky.

The Vizio M3D651SV offers a lot of screen for comparatively little money, but unless you really want 3D, there are better big-screen values.

"Very Glossy - Great TV - Great Value"

I INITIALLY HAD A DAMAGED SET: I will start this by saying that my set was damaged from the factory. Although it had a perfectly intact box when pulled out the back side was buckled slightly on both side causing the screen to bend slightly backwards. I...

+ Images are brilliant, the colors perfect

- Some grey smokey areas in the middle

"The last American made TV. Started by ex-Sony personnel"

Your reviews are usually on the money C Net, and I have come to rely on them. I am afraid that you really missed the boat on this one. You must have got a bad example. None of the problems that you describe exist on mine. It's a beautiful television...

Breathtaking picture. Simple to figure out and work with.

I wish that it had an S-Video port.

"Beat Value & Picture for the money"

I read the owners reviews and ordered this TV. Once I got it home I was upset. I am replacing a Samsung LED DLP 61 inch. The only reason I bought this TV was for the size and 3D. The Samsung has a great picture. This TV's picture sucked! I went on line...

$1600 at Walmart. 3D Picture & HD Picture. It will make you smile.

None I can think of. It is that good.

"Unbeatable for the price!"

I almost let Cnets review scare me away from this, but every other review out there is very positive and there seems to be very few reports of any problems or negatives other than the screen is reflective and has a bit of glare. The 3d is great,...

Great Contrast, very bright, outstanding passive 3d, good black levels. Unbeatable size for the money!

A bit to glossy and has a bit of glare.

"The value per square inch of screen is unmatched."

The only accurate piece in the editor's review is the screens glossy finish. Strange how the glossy finish on Panasonic plasmas didn't warrant similarly poor rating.

price, quality

glossy screen

"Fantastic 3d and 2d picture"

I have no idea why CNET thinks the picture is not good. Looks good to me and all those other reviewers on Amazon. CNET review reeks of bias to brand name.

Very good picture quality

Glossy screen but only an issue if you cannot make the room dark enough. Not a problem if you have good curtains with backing.

"superior quality at low price"

I will write full review once I find some time

excellent 3d

not able to get 1080p quality for the iso images which I have.. Not sure whether it is because of my dvd quality or tv problem
