Best picture around

Just bought this a few days ago. I'm blown away by the clarity of the DVD from a progressive scan player (only 480p). HD signal is awesome, regular signal is a little grainy. I had originally budgeted $1000 for a CRT TV but found that 30in was less ...

Picture, supports 480p 720p 1080i, 1080p, 7 hook ups, simple to configure, 52 lbs

Price ($1600)

Great value for a large screen LCD monitor, suitable for a small home theater

Our 32" 4:3 CRT monitor was approaching 12 years old and I wasn't satisfied with the picture quality anymore, so we started looking at new TVs. Our TV is in a room that has a west-facing patio door, which means there is often a lot of ambient light ...

Big, bright, sharp, and quiet monitor screen, 1080p on two inputs, small remote

Has no tuner, does not display closed captions, uneven backlight, low-end TV speakers

Picture is as good as your source

This monitor has no tuner, and running through a standard cable connection and a VCR, the picture quality varies greatly from poor to very good, indicating those differences must be in the source. Likewise, with DVD connected to the component ...

Bright, wide angle viewing, dazzling with high quality sources.

Unforgiving on poor signals, no tilt & pan. Plain Jane styling.

Steal compared to other sets out there! 37" LCD, 1080p and 4 HD inputs!

This is an update to my original review from last summer. One year later, I still am very impressed with the unit. In fact, I am leaning heavily towards replacing my living room TV with the 42" LCD. You cannot beat the fact that this are not only ...

37" LCD in a 4:3 form factor. 1080p! 1000:1 contrast ratio. FOUR HD inputs

Who ever heard of Westinghouse LCDs?! The printed manual is horrible. Squirrely universal remote codes.

Top performance, low price, a new value leader

The Westinghouse appears to have beat to market it's competitors who are also using the ChI Mei Optoelectronics new 37" panel (Taiwan): namely BenQ and Sceptre. I bought the W because it showed up first, and bought it at Best Buy because I could return...

Eye popping resolution, glorious brightness, super low glare/reflections, compact bezel.

Very sensitive to video input quality variations, no TV tuner, strange gamma. No tilt, pan.
