On the surface, the latest security suite from Kaspersky Lab looks more polished than last year's edition, but the actual security features in Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 ($79.95 direct for 3 licenses) haven't changed much. That's not a bad thing ...
Improved interface. "Safe Run" virtual environment protects against unwanted changes. Intelligent Application Control. Hardened against malware attacks. Improved spam filtering. Blocks exploits and leak tests
Malware cleanup left behind many traces. Slowed system performance somewhat. Antiphishing module less effective. Rudimentary parental controls
Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 has everything you expect from a security suite and more. Its firewall is smart, the antivirus labs like it, and its "Safe Run" sandbox protects your system. It did not, however, ace our antispam and anti-malware tests ...

Includes some excellent tools, but beginners might want something simpler
To paraphrase a politician whose career isn't having its finest moments right now, Kaspersky's Internet Security 2010 is a serious application for serious times. Professionally presented from the off, it's a suite of utilities for battling ...
A strong package, and one that continues to improve. Some nice new features, and an all-round professional job that covers most of what the majority of people are likely to worry about in terms of PC security.
Databases update automatically every few minutes. Silent background operation. No interruptions while gaming. Haven't had any problems in over a year using Kaspersky products. I would recommend this over other, more well-known products.
Unlike the "other guys", works with XP Pro 64-bit

If you are a busy person like me, you need an internet security that will not take up a lot of memory, and will scan according to your cpu usage. That is Kaspersky Internet Security.
You get what you pay for ; Good for someone with a laptop, desktop, and a buddy ; Optimized for gaming ; Low cpu usage while scanning ; Stops nearly every attack that is thrown at it
Requires SLIGHTLY more memory usage than Norton, but when 2Gb is the norm, you shouldn't have much to worry about
