We got this for a new start in a new and smaller house, replacing an ancient Miele Cat and Dog. I can't say I noticed any significant difference in effectiveness or the feel of using it. Does the job. Well priced. No complaints.

We were concerned about getting this as we saw mixed reviews. We decided to take a risk and are glad we did. The first thing you notice about this vacuum is how solidly made it is. But the main thing is it does what it says. The "pet hair eraser"...

I just bought this machine, and to test it out I took it to a very dirty, smelly mattress that had been left by a tenant who had a dog and let it pee all over the bed (that's part of why she's not a tenant anymore) I still have to do the rug, but I'm...

Consumers appreciated the remarkably lightweight feel of the Bissell PROlite MultiCyclonic Vacuum 17G5. It performed well at picking up deep-down dirt particles and very well at removing pet hair from carpeting and debris from bare flooring. It did,...

The suction on this unit from the moment it was unpacked is horrible - to the point I would classify it as worthless for vacuuming out the car. Had I purchased it locally I would return it for a refund. I do not recommend this vacuum.
Bissell has forged ahead and made a few subtle changes to its highly proclaimed ProHeat carpet cleaner. With ProHeat 2X, series 9400, Bissell has added additional brushes to the powerhead.

Lightweight - the lightest carpet cleaner I've ever used, and it's easy to empty. I really like this cleaner, it overall does a pretty good job, though I had some pet stains on light carpet that it did not fully remove the stain, even after...

This Bissell does not not clean, what it does is suck up water or any liquid cleaner you use off the carpet or floors and that's about it. So if you are looking for a deep cleaning vacuum, this is not it

Check for possible alternatives before a purchase if you dont want to(or cant) do basic maintenance. If you have new carpets, your carpets may end up needing replacement later anyways.
