A PC Gamers must!

If you have a dusty computer i suggest ordering a dust mask.

Do you spend over 1,500$ on a PC? You might want one of these also! It works SO MUCH better than a can of compressed air and if you do the math it pays for itself fast (Especially if you own 3 computers and 2 servers). It will do the job pretty well...

None! It does what it was made for

Worth every penny. This thing will create a cloud of dust in your room even if you keep up with dusting regularly (its that good). I have been using chemical dust cans for the past 2 years and this by far has way more constant blowing power. Yay!

No more dust cans ; Saving me money in the long run ; MASSIVE AIR FLOW

none, does exactly what its supposed to do

repaired and works great again

If your warranty has expired, easy repair possible. With ED500 unplugged, remove four visible screws and bottom allen bolt of handle.Don't forget to unscrew and release the on and off switch. Carefully separate cannister, so you can observe how all is...

American made, small and powerful

small twist on wire ends inside manufacturer weak point

lasts just under 13 months

I bought this because it was American made and would save money and environment. I will have to find a more reliable, better made, longer lasting product.

Great air pressure, perfect for cleaning computer parts

Only worked for 13 months and I did not even use it that much, maybe twice a week

Like X-Men's Storm

I've known of MetroVac for many years; actually was a supplier of some bags for their vacuum cleaners. They make low-tech, strong products. This blower is no exception.

Way more powerful than you expect. Be careful you don't blow the motherboard out of the case. I've also used it to blow up an air mattress

Does get a bit warm with use so I'll suggest you not use it continuously for long periods of time; probably would burn out the motor. Be cautious and it should last for a good long time

Best purchase ever

I would purchase this again in a heart beat. I have even bought one for home. Cleaned out Dryer trap, back of refrigerator, and was great for cobwebs I couldn't reach. It's an all purpose machine.

This thing blows out any and everything you can imagine

Cord could be a little longer, but an extension cord worked great

Metrovac Datavac Electric Duster

The only thing that I would have liked to see, would be an option to use batteries rather than an AC power source, but seeing as how if someone wanted to clean a computer they would likely have access to a standard wall outlet, it isn't really a problem.

Very nice solution to canned air, comes with great attachments for getting to all the hidden components inside your computer that build dust. A lot of people I know use air compressors to dust their PC but I feel this is a safer alternative. Being able...

It seems I have to type something in the cons section. I honestly don't see any downsides to this duster, and if you already buy disposable cans of air to clean you PC, then it is truly a no-brainer

Life changing

If you're like me and have tons of computers and electronics that you obsessively clean weekly - monthly then this is the tool for you. It's the limitless can of air you always wished you had. Some reviews complain about noise or heat. I don't see this...

Does all the jobs you wished you could of done with that can of compressed air and then some

Will still need canned air to blow off CPU after cleaning it off with rubbing alcohol. I haven't tried it, but I could tell just from looking at it that not being able to blast won't work for that task... Minor con

I bought this to replace my O2 Hurricane, which died after barely 40 cumulative minutes of use. I've already used this thing twice as much, and it works three times as well! This is larger in person than it looks in the images, to me anyway. It's also...

Powerful. WAY more powerful than the O2 Hurricane ; Lots of attachments to help get to those hard-to-reach places

See where people keep saying this is loud? Multiply all of that by 10. It sounds like a shop vac ; Heavier and larger than you'd expect, looking at the pictures ; Cumbersome ; Heats up super-fast and blows hot air on your PC components

Best yet

No matter the product, people find fault, no matter how small. Highly recommend, it works.

Hands down superior to any canned air I have used. Pays for itself in short time cleaning numerous desktops in service in my home. Learn to use the accessories properly ; Some complain of noise. It's only used for short times, deal with it for...
