This Dyson really sucks...

Okay - pardon the bad pun (which I am certain has been used here before)... First, let me explain that manning the vacuum cleaner is my chore. In the time that I have been married, I have spent more time pushing (or dragging) a vacuum cleaner around ...

Strong suction, no bag necessary, small size, well constructed, washable filter

Foot pedal can be hard to depress

Excellent

Excellent

I got this for my son's flat and it does a great job. I wasn't sure about it at first as I had only ever used their uprights, but it's fine and takes up little space in his cupboard.

Don't buy this vacuum cleaner

Don't buy this vacuum cleaner

This vacuum cleaner is useless. It hardly picks up anything. The suction is very weak and does not pick up dog hairs at all.

Buy a Miele!

Compact

noisy, hard to drag as only has swivel wheel at front ; Heavy and won't sit on stairs easily ; Weak suction on the motorhead as too many leaks and air gaps in the tube

Dyson DC05 Absolute : Cyclone affects House in Staffs

Well, actually, it sucked the dirt up, but you get the idea. Pause here for my happy Snoopy style dance while I reflect on the all the dirt and germs that my Dyson has rid my home of. WOW! WOW! WOW! Okay, enough with the dorkiness. Seriously, though,...

Dyson DC05 Turbo Brush : Dyson DC05 Absolute

I purchased my Dyson 4 years ago. I when I filled out my guarantee and it asked how long did I expect my Dyson to last, I ticked the 10 years plus box! I have not had much luck with my Dyson, although it vacuums well the parts keep breaking. I have...

Dyson DC05

Good power, easy to put together

Slightly unwieldy with all the attachments hanging off it - best to remove them. Also more difficult than you'd think to store away

Dyson DC05 : Only buy if you have no mind of your own

Okay I had this machine for 3 years. I got on the Dyson bandwagen having been wooed by their stylish looks and promises of wonderful cleaning. Things started well as I got a great deal from one online company and saved a lot. The machine was well...
