I bought this dirt devil for less than $40 about 1 year ago and it hasn't let me down yet! It's got good suction and works on bare floors, carpets, and rugs. It is extremely light weight and easy to carry. If you clean out your filter religiously once...

A POWERFUL LITTLE DEVIL!

Model SC899 vacuum has a poor reliability record with respect to the life of the lower motor bearing. That bearing gets excessive dust from poor venting of the exhaust air. The top bearing isn't much better but does last longer as it does not carry...
