The bottom discharge and waste tank has to fit just so and snug or you won't get a vacuum. I had to unlock and relock the waste tank more than once before I had a vacuum. Fortunately, this was only an minor annoyance

easy to use, easy to put together and carpet cleans nice with this product. the spinning brushes on bottom help to bring carpet cleaner...i would reccomend this product
