Hoover F7452-900 MaxExtract Steam Vac

The Hoover MaxExtract All-Terrain Carpet Cleaner garners many great ratings from consumers but also gets almost as many poor ratings. Those that like it say it is probably one the best steam cleaners available and that it does an excellent cleaning job...

- Strong suction ; - Floors dry quite quickly after use ; - leaves both carpet and bare floors very clean ; - cleaning solution is in a separate container ; - separate clean and dirty water tanks ; - clean water rinse button is a nice feature

- some owners report leaking around water tanks ; - heavy ; - shaft that drives the brushes is plastic and there are reports of it breaking

Hoover F7411-900 SteamVac Dual V Widepath Carpet Cleaner

When deciding on a steam vacuum many consumers price the cost of having a professional cleaning company come in and do their carpets. The pricing is often about the same as the price of the Hoover F7411-900 SteamVac Dual V Widepath Carpet Cleaner – if...

Hoover SteamVac SpinScrub Carpet Cleaner Review

The Hoover SteamVac SpinScrub is a force to be reckoned with in the world of carpet cleaners. Its long power cord, wide cleaning path, stain removal and water evaporating features place it among the best carpet cleaners in our lineup. This model is...

The SpinScrub earned high scores in our stain and water extraction tests.

This carpet cleaner doesn’t include a separate tank for detergent.

The SpinScrub is a hefty carpet cleaner with a wide cleaning path. It’s a good fit for homes with thick carpets and open spaces.

LOVE IT!

TWO water tanks. One for clean and one for dirty water. Imagine that! I say that with some sarcasm, because my last SteamVac had ONE tank. Pretty moronic to be using the same dirty water to clean your floor. The two tank option is a MUST!

Obviously you could not have HUGE tanks on a machine meant to be easily pushed and pulled, but would be nice if the water tanks did not need filled\emptied as often as they do. Would one cycle be too much to asked, per room? Not a deal breaker though.

Great SteamVac!

I researched steamvacs for 3days online before getting this one. I'm glad I did. Great Vac. Would be nice if the tanks would need to be filled or drained, depending on which one, at the same time. Normally, you fill the dirty water tank before you run...

Cleans carpet and upholstery wonderfully! Works great with ammonia or vinegar as the soap solution... maybe even better than the concentrated soaps you can use.

Has small dispensary tank and you have to operate it slow. You can't use it like a vacuum. Pro steam cleaners may get pretty vigorous with their vacs, so they do get it done faster.

works great!

Works very well for periodic shampooing of carpets and clean-ups. Great price on Egg Buster.

Not quite as powerful as the Rug Doctor kind, but didn't expect it to be. Still works extremely well keeping my carpets clean.

Won't get fooled again

I'm not jumping on the cheap plastic bandwagon here. I've owned several Hoover carpet cleaners, and the "steam" cleaning issue set aside, I'm very disappointed how the quality of the construction has declined over the last 3 decades. My last unit only...

Low cost, comparatively, does clean well.

VERY cheaply made. I can see the clips holding the front scrub brush not lasting very long, as well as any of the moveable plastic parts.

Not bad

got it on sale for under 100 so it was well worth it at the time, full price... you could probably find better for the same cost, but find it on sale and it gets my recommendation.

It does what it should do, it's not too bulky and has attachment for cleaning furniture

it may not be strong enough for most people's standards, but nothing a second pass can't fix.

OLD unit but still working

This is a very old unit made to look different year to year. On short carpet you need to literally step on the front of the unit for it to pick up. The spray is manually gravity feed with trigger

-Works good on normal ply carpet -Cheap -Long lasting

Terrible on very short and just OK on thick carpet
