please do not waist your money on this item,the suction is poor and tips over when using the tools,hoover are not what they used to be,very poor product.

The reason people are finding Hoover not such a good buy there days is because Candy bought the Hoover name around 1996 [both American and British Hoover sold off] The last decent Hoover made upright was a Turbopower 1, their 450 to 600 watt motors...

Have had this cleaner about 8 months in that time the rubber drive belt has snapped 4 times. The latest was today and after about 10 minutes use , failed again.

I have had this hoover for 4 months now. It is top heavy and falls over when using tools, foot catch rarely works properly, clogs up very easily and to top it all off, burnt my very short carpet when in tool mode today. I would not recommend this...
