what a disappointment

After having a vax cylinder cleaner for 20 years I felt I should get a new cleaner and was swayed towards this model. Bad Bad decision. It must be the worst cleaner I have ever had. It doesnt stay upright. The pet hair attachment keeps dropping off....

a good reason to buy a vax

The purchase experience was great at Comet and the salestaff let us decide over time what the best option was for a relative who wanted this vacuum cleaner all because it carried the Hoover name. However the Slalom has been a hit and miss affair; it...

pet hair brush easily to maintain, cool to look at, brush roll can be turned off

heavy to steer around corners, noisy, explorer lance not that ideal, cheap tools, pet hair turbo brush keeps falling off, build quality, handle doesn't always lock up, small dust capacity, drive belt must be replaced by hoover, can fall over
