Hoover Slider Rechargeable Broom S2105 Review and Prices

Perfect for quick pickups, the Hoover Slider Rechargeable BroomS2105 does just what the name implies. It slides into corners and narrow spots with ease, thanks in part to its rotating head.

Rotating head gets in tight spots, brushroll makes it work on carpet as well as floors

Not terribly durable

Hoover Slider Bagless Stick Vacuum: I can't BELIEVE they still manufacture this piece of junk!

While looking for a good price on my daughter's most wanted birthday present, I recently received the shock of my life at Wal-Mart. No, it wasn't a sense of claustrophobia from the crowded aisles. It was the shock of seeing a packaged-up Hoover S2105...

Looks nice, Convenient for the three weeks it worked

Piece of junk

I love this product

I paid about $39, including shipping on this and absolutely love it. With two dogs, it has helped me keep the kitchen very tidy. I keep it plugged in nearby so I have no trouble hauling it out. The only downsides are that the dirt cup is very small, so...

Lightweight, great suction, easy to use, inexpensive, ready to go on the spot

Small dirt cup, turns on by lowering the handle (takes a little getting used to)

I have had my Slider for over a year and it has been such a help to me. I am disabled and in chronic pain and it was so difficult for me to use a broom and dust pan for in between cleaning (I have someone every other week for heavy cleaning). When I...

Swivel head will go around the toilet bowl and in between washer and dryer

None really. Catching a throw rug will eventually stretch the belt

Disappointed with Hoover on this one

The Hoover glider doesn't work on carpet, pet hair clog it up immediately, the container to catch the dirt has to be emptied frequently along the the roller with brushes on-big disappointment for Hoover

no suction, dirt container too small, clogs easily, doesn't work on carpet or pet

Great Vacuum for In Between -- Good to Let's Kids Use

I've had mine about two years and I use it for in between jobs. It is not made for a heavy duty, full-house jobs, but rather for quick pick up, i.e., lint from dryer, cat food spills, etc.

Easy to use, quick charge time, manuverable

Doesn't pick up everything

Great for in between cleans! *Please read update!*

(The following is my original review, please read update below)If you are going to go out and buy one of these, don't think, "Gee, I'm going to buy this small, tiny, 50 dollar vacuum and I won't have to use my clumsy upright or canister vacuum ever...

Small, light, no cord, rechargeable, reusable filter

Could use a little more suction, breaks down after short time

Lacks Power

I have had 3 rechargeable, upright vacuums. The Slider turned out to be disappointing in its performance. I liked that it was American made and proved to be more solid and durable than the foreign made vacuums I had. Design wise the vacuum performed...

Nice solid body design. Swiveling head is very convenient

The motor is inadequate to use effectively on carpets

It's okay, but don't expect a thorough clean

I hate cleaning, but I hate dirt and messes too. When I clean, I want to do it the fastest and most efficient way possible. Since I can't stand a messy kitchen floor, but hate sweeping, I decided to get an inexpensive stick vacuum meant exclusively for...

lightweight, good for quick clean ups on floored areas

suction power is not great, don't recommend for carpeted areas or for large messes

Does an adequate job

We bought the Hoover 2105 Slider and a few days later bought the highly rated ( on this site ) Eureka 96D Quick-Up. The easiest way for me to describe the Hoover is to compare it to the Eureka.

Very low design allows it to clean under tight places

Does not clean as well as others
