Not a good vacume cleaner.....

This machine, Hoover Windtunnel U5780 has had problems since the day I brought it home and used it for the first time. The suction is weak at best. It overheats and stops working after about 30 minutes. After it overheats, it has to sit for about an...

It looks cool

Its heavy

This is a great vacuum

I love this vacuum! It is so easy to push around and it gets all the dirt up the time time so no going over and over and over the same spot. it's also super easy to unload the container and easy to clean afterward too!

Easy to Use, Great Design, Good Value

I have owned this vacuum since mid 2008, so, a little more than a year and a half at the time I write this article.  I bought it to replace an older hoover bag-less that broke after 8 years of admirable service.  I assumed that the next generation of...

Strong Suction, nice handle to carry up stairs, stair / upholstery attachment, lifetime

Poor design, belts, hoses, stability, hard to keep clean, weight, overheating

This vacuum seems to work just fine. I like it.

I generally look around a lot & read reviews carefully before shelling out ~$200 for anything. This time I took the Consumer Reports Buying Guide into Sears, only to find that they didn't have either of the two "Best Buys" in the price range I liked. ...

Good suction, not overly loud, nifty attachments, bagless, HEPA filter supposedly lifetime-rated

Rather heavy

Don't waste your time with this lazy vacuum cleaner.

Second update: June 30, 2008] I've had enough. I'm glad Sears has a 90-day return policy & I saved my receipt. This last time, I ran the vacuum less than 10 minutes before it tuckered out. That's pathetic. ...

Prone to cutting itself off (thermal shutdown) after minimal use. Rather heavy.
