Not too good!!

Not too good!!

The bucket is too small and make a mess every time we empty it. The screen in the bucket breaks easily and we've had to special order it twice (takes three weeks to arrive). Don't waste your money!!!

Too heavy

Too heavy

We bought this vacuum about 2 years ago and rarely use it. The vacuum is way too heavy...and we're in relatively good shape. You will never want to carry it up or down stairs. As of today, the vacuum stopped sucking things up...so now I have a heavy...

Not worth it AT ALL

Not worth it AT ALL

I also purchased this for the low $99 price. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and with a price of $199... you get much less. Let me start by saying: It doesn't vacuum any better than any other same price vacuum I have ever used or owned....

I bought this thinking I would save space and money buying just one vacuum for my hard wood and carpeted floors. I tend to go through vacuums quickly (3 vacuums in 3 years) but Hoover is always highly rated so I thought this would be a good choice. It...

The SUV of vacuum cleaners...sans power steering.

This is the vac for people who like exercise. I'm referring to using the hose option. One really has to pull to get it to extend. But a person certainly can't say it's cheaply made...the hose that is. And the dirt cup is considered by many to be...

Everything You Never Asked for in a Vacuum Cleaner

I purchased the Hoover "Z" Bagless a few months ago, based on little other than how cool it looked sitting there in my local home supply store. The price, at $99.00 new in the box, was too tempting to resist. I figured if it delivered on half the...

Love it, Doesn't lose suction

I have been looking for a vacuum that has no filters to change ever. My last bagless had 3 different filters and every time one got just a little dirty I lost all suction. Not to mention the yearly expense with all those filters. This Vacuum is...

Product Specifications

Hoover "Z" 400 Bagless Upright vacuum is the world's first Sport Utility Vacuum. The patent pending Z-fold design offers the performance of an upright and the flexibility and stability of a canister. The patent pending Self-Cleaning Hepa filter cleans itself every 6 seconds. Fine dirt and dust are trapped by the filter as it rotates, while larger particles fall into the dirt cup. As it reaches the cleaning position, a combination of reverse airflow and gentle tapping releases the fine dirt and dust from the filter. As dirt and dust fall into the dirt cup, the filter continues to turn and the next section is cleaned. The DigiTouch Control Pad allows you to simply touch the desired setting and have it automatically adjust the On/Off switch, Automatic Carpet Height settings, Automatic Hard Surface Settings, and Diagnostic indicators. The Telescoping Quick-Release Wand with Super Stretch Hose gives you 20 feet of reach for easy stair cleaning. The hose swivels 360 degrees so it won't kink or topple. The Z 400 comes with on Board tools, Dusting brush, crevice tool, and furniture nozzle. The Z 400 is virtually Maintenance Free, and comes with a 2 year warranty. No belts, bags, or filters to replace. - ever!
