Plenty of suction power- Extra-wide floor brush works well- Easy to assemble out of the box- Suction power control is a nice feature- Stylish machine

Lost of plastic in construction (doesnt feel overly durable)- Hose not flexible enough (can crimp and doesnt move easily)- Unit is heavy- A few comments that the retractable cord does not retract well- Vacuum on/off is on the canister

I really miss my other canister vacuum (the one right before Hoover created this one). It sucked up everything. I have 10 cats in my house, so, I vacuum alot. My 1st floor is tile. I have to re-vac the tile to suck up the dirt. Hoover should not have...

Do Not Buy as a wood floor vacuum
