Great for everyday cleaning

This little guy won't eliminate your chores, but if you're able to work around some caveats, he'll knock out a lot of effort. Once or twice a week, and especially before/after I have company, I'll switch Roomba on and let him do the floors while I take...

Great for keeping floors clean day-to-day, works on hardwood and carpet, cleans my lower story on one charge (~600 sq ft), cleans under my furniture, looks awesome

Doesn't completely eliminate vacuuming, can't do high-pile rugs, gets caught on wires and some furniture

Roomba and Pet Hair / Poor Review

Other Roomba models may better meet your needs, but for a basic robotic maid that vacuums this is hard to beat.

Roomba OK, not magic

We have a 1200 sq ft condo with all wood floors, except for a few area rugs. Bought the roomba to try and keep up with the insane amount of cat hair from our two cats - esp in the spring! Roomba does collect a huge amount of hair every time we run it...

Picks up lots of cat hair ; Cleans under couches, tables, chairs, beds, ent center ; Needs very little supervision ; Battery lasts over 30 min of continuous cleaning ; easy to empty collection bin, clean off brushes, and restore to like new condition ;...

Does NOT pick up all cat hair, dirt, dust, ... always leaves the floors pretty clean, but not really clean ; needs some supervision = gets stuck fairly often ; deposits lots of hair, dust, dirt particles, etc on edges of area rugs ; always gets stuck...
