iRobot Roomba 530

Meet the iRobot Roomba 530: a handy little robo vacuum cleaner

Fast, good at untangling itself, high charging base return rate, voice alerts, detects dirtier spots

Only one sweeper, noisy

The iRobot Roomba 530 robot vacuum cleaner is a handy little home appliance that sweeps and sucks up mess while comically zipping around your home, bumping into things and being awesome.

LOVING MY ROOMBA

I use this personally and it works really well. As soon as it bounces into a wall or a stand or something, it turns around and goes the other way. Really good sweeper, an A+++++++++ for sure.

Great way to keep the carpet and hardwood floor clean!

Great buy if you want to keep your floors constantly clean and looking good without much effort.

Easy to use and clean. Works fast, does not fall down stairs or get hung up on obstacles. Gets close to baseboards and corners. Practically eliminates pet hair and dust easily. I've had this for over a year and it works great. The kids love it and na

Sometimes it gets caught under furniture, behind doors, and in drapes. It's easy to get it started again. Just untangle or free it and push the button to begin again. I find that you need to run it more frequently than if you used a traditional vacuum

Not impressed. Brushes and bearings need constant work

I feel like I'm spending more time moving Roomba around my house and mainting its brushes and bearings than I did when I was just vacuuming rugs and dust mopping floors.

Does ok on hard wood floors

Need to clean hair out of the brushes all the time. Started setting runtime errors. Now have to clean hair out of the bearings. Cleaning performance is mediocre. Leaves dirt and fuzz balls around the edges of area rugs on hard wood floors

Disappointing customer service from iRobot company

There are places that you can purchase them from that will warrantee them for life, but unfortunately that's not where I got mine. Buyer beware, the company that makes them has negligable customer service once the short warrantee runs out.

Worked great for about a year

Battery no longer holds a charge, and cliff sensors are malfunctioning. It thinks it's at the top of some stairs and just keeps going in a circle. iRobot tech support told me I have to replace it, so now I have a $300.00 paperweight after a little more

It's a great little entertainment center.

Smallapartment, no children or pets may make it worth while.

Light - sets well out of sight

Too many conflicting floor coverings to deal with

Terrible company to work with

There are no pros to dealing with this company

I ordered a Roomba battery for my 400 discovery series. They sent me a 500 series battery. After spending an hour on the telephone with supervisors giving me the run around they agreed to send me a shipping label to send it back. They then sent me another

Poor quality for the price. Not worth the money!

Definitely would not recommend this to anyone

It is nice for routine cleaning and cuts down on everyday vacuuming

The motors are expensive and even with cleaning of the dust bin and brushes after every use, we have still gone through four motors in 18 months. That is almost the cost of a new Roomba! I have had my Electrolux vacuum for 13 years with only replacing o

Don't waste your money on any model!

works great right out of the box for about 6 months. Works best on tile picking up pet hairs, dirt, sand and small debris

I spent nearly $300 for my first roomba and it only lasted 6 months. Tried to trouble shoot with Technial Support and they said I need a new battery to the tune of $80 (out of warranty). My sister-in-law bought the pet roomba and paid a lot more than I d
