iRobot Roomba 790

Build/construction Like the Infinuvo CleanMate QQ5 Plus , the iRobot Roomba 790 is disc-shaped, though it's a bit heftier. The Roomba 790 measures 13.9 inches in diameter and 3.6 inches in height, just over half an inch wider and half an inch taller...

The charming Roomba 790 cleans your home reasonably well, requiring little human intervention past programming and dustbin emptying.

Its navigational decision making sometimes results in longer cleaning cycles than you might want, and at $699 the Roomba 790 much more than some alternatives.

If price-point isn’t a factor and you’re looking for a robot vacuum to help you maintain multiple flooring types in your home, the Roomba 790 is an effective, low-maintenance purchase.

It Might Not Be the Robot We Want, But It’s the Robot We Deserve

The Roomba utility robot has been sweeping our floors for 10 years, and while the basic task it performs has remained the same, the famous vacuuming disk has gotten smarter.

Review: iRobot Roomba Pet Series 532

While I vacuum my living area on a regular basis, I rather not. Who likes to vacuum? I'm somewhat of a neat freak so having clean carpets is important to me. I've always considered buying a Roomba to help eradicate…

Roomba Vacuums Its Way Into Our Hearts – the iRobot Roomba Review

I have never been a fan of vacuuming in fact I have gone through many many vacuums because they weren't powerful enough or I felt they didn't clean well. Besides that, as much as I do want to Vacuum I never get around to it because I'm too busy! Well...

Cleans on its own just set a schedule, leaves floors extra shiny, returns to base when it’s done. It's a ROBOT

Doesn't handle long hair to well gets tangled in all wheels and brushes. The better models could be a bit pricey and hard to prove for the price its better than some of the larger competitors

When I left the Roomba alone to do its thing it did a great job. It had gone under my bed and into my kitchen and cleaned in all sorts of weird spots and it was even pushing some of my furniture around to collect the dirt. My wood floors were left...

iRobot Roomba 660 review

Cleaning your house is a bore, but sadly one that has to be done from time to time unless you are happy to live in a dirt-invested hovel - we doubt that - so is a robot vacuum cleaner the answer? We set one to work in the Pocket-lint office to find out.

Small, easy to use, bigger dirt bin, schedule timer, better brushes

Not as powerful as a standard cleaner, spot cleaning possible but frustrating

The Roomba 660 is for those who like to proactively tackle dust and dirt in their house, while at the same time saving themselves from having to spend every night cleaning the living room.

iRobot Roomba 780 review

The iRobot Roomba 780 is the latest futurisitc contender to try and make its mark in the robot cleaner wars

Dust busting abilities ; Tenacious cleaning ; Reaches unsightly areas

Price ; Issues with loose rugs ; Slightly loud

Far from the finished article the, iRobot Roomba 780 is, however, an all-round good performer, capable of cleaning a variety of surface types with ease and readily on hand to snap up any unsightly debris smaller than a ping pong ball.

iRobot Roomba

When we heard about the iRobot Roomba we instinctively looked to the skies to see if people were flying around on jetpacks or if hover cars were whizzing by. Apparently, the future is not quite here but the Roomba is, at the very least, a little...

Smart machine, good clean, not too loud ;

A little temperamental at times, not deep enough clean ;

As a side note, the Roomba is soon going to be getting a friend. Scooba is on its way to our shores mid next year, we are told, and is another robotic cleaning system but this time it will wash and dry your kitchen floors. We will keep a close eye on...

Why waste time on household chores when you could be playing with gadgets? This innovation from iRobot could make your life a whole lot easier.

Cheap robo-vacs used to be a no-no, but this one is top-notch. Not Dyson standards admittedly, but far more relaxing

iRobot Roomba 780

The first robot vacuum to truly deserve its title? Yes indeed.

Excellent navigation system ; Good cleaning across all surfaces ; Simple scheduling system ; Doesn't damage objects it passes over ; Quieter than rivals

You will still need to vacuum occasionally ; Can bump doors, locking itself in rooms ; Expensive solution to a simple task
