iRobot Scooba 230

iRobot's Scooba 230 floor-cleaning robot can handle reasonably dirty floors, and access tight spaces, but it's easily bested by heavy traffic areas, and it needs a longer-lasting battery.

Small, light, and easy to use. Can fit behind most bathroom toilets. Virtual walls keep the Scooba on track in larger spaces.

Battery life is too short. Will only work with its own solution or water. Only effectively cleans moderately dirty floors.

I took the Scooba 230 back to my sink, opened up both ports and poured out the dirty liquid. There was almost nothing left in the clean bladder. iRobot recommends rinsing out each bladder with clean water, so I did that as well. Then I snapped off the...
