iRobot Scooba 385 floor-washing robot

The iRobot Scooba floor-washing machine is a robotic mop that takes the hassle out of an almost always neglected household chore

Cleans well, easy to take apart and clean, mops the floor for you

Very loud, soap is not sold in Australia, expensive

The iRobot Scooba 385 floor-washing machine delivered good results during our tests. It is painfully loud, but it's probably not as painful as actually mopping floors yourself. It also uses considerably less water than conventional mopping.

I hate to mop. Can the iRobot Scooba 385 really help?

I am not much of a housekeeper. Though I like to see things neat and clean, I just don't have much of a will to make it happen on a regular basis. Consequently, I always get a little bit excited whenever something comes on the market that ...

Basically effective. Neat gadget. You're not doing the mopping yourself

Not as efficient or effective as mopping by hand is. Expensive

Great Device, Love it to bits

After owning a scooba in the U.S.A, one of the first models out, which worked like a charm, my partner and I decided to buy one here. He went searching and doing the research on the newer models. He found one out of Florida on eBay a 380 model , and we...

Terrible

Although the Scooba saved my back and did quite a good job at cleaning the lino and wooden floors it only lasted 6 months before parts started falling off. Will cost me over $500 to replace all the parts needed. Definitely not worth the money! I...

Too expensive!

Like It Alot!

I purchased the scooba about a month ago now, and i love it. Its an amazing addition to the family, everybody is still fascinated by it. I live in a family of 5 with 3 dogs in a 4 bedroom house so you can imagine the mess that goes on especially when it...

Cost effective, does a good job in a confined area, back problems no more when mopping!

It is expensive but i think worth it, it is noisy, goes on carpet if doors aren't closed.

Shocking

Thought this product would be great after have the roomba vacuum . Not happy with the amount of money you have to spend on something that doesn't do it's job right. It would bump into my furniture than just stop on the spot. Didn't clean the floors...

Great Little Addition

I've had the Sccoba for a couple of weeks now and I think it's brilliant. We have used it every day with normal water in our main living area and the floors feel they have been mopped. I run a family day care and its a great little device to clean my...

Battery life terrible

After purchasing the Roomba and being pleased with product I decided to splurge on the Scooba. What a mistake that was. Battery life is appauling and is lucky to last 20 minutes (i'm being generous). It leaves blotchy looking streaks ( I use the...

Terrible, loud, doesn't clean.

Sooo loud. If you think you can relax while it washes, forget it. Sounds like an aeroplane, needs to be redirected constantly and even when I put it over milk spots (from baby bottle) several times, they are still there. Doesn't leave dry floor as...
