iRobot Scooba 450

It's no small investment, but the iRobot Scooba 450 is a very effective way to keep your floors sparkling without reaching for a mop and bucket.

Effective cleaning. Easy to use. Speaks audible cues

Pricey. Loud. Requires some manual labor to keep clean

Vacuum robots are great for picking up physical debris and pet hair tumbleweeds, but they don't exactly leave your floors looking shiny and new the same way a good mopping will. If you've already grown accustomed to automated floor cleaning, though,...

iRobot Scooba Floor Washing Robot

Gets the job done. Will clean your floor better than a mop.

More expensive than a mop and bucket. Costly consumables. Needs a good cleaning with each use.

Scooba is a robot mop that can make easy work of the dirtiest floor, but you'll pay handily and wait a while for it to get its work done.

iRobot Scooba reviewed by PCMAG: receives 3.5 out of 5 stars

PCMAG has an early, hands-on review of the iRobot Scooba which should be generally available starting next month. You know, the heavier, taller, and wider followup to the hot Roomba vacuum which will prep, wash, scrub, and then dry your floors. Besides...

Simple to operate, Cleans thoroughly

Lacks spot cleaning mode, Not entirely autonomous, No smartphone connectivity

All things considered, there’s a lot to love about this bot. It’s ridiculously simple to use, it cleans floors thoroughly, and it only requires a small amount of effort to set up before each use. No matter how you look at it, Scooba is a...

iRobot Scooba

The iRobot Scooba is a floor-washing robot. It not only preps the floor from mopping and scrubbing. It does the washing and scrubbing too. It even squeegees. It has been designed for solid uncarpeted tiled, marbled and concrete surfaces. It is also...

Great housekeeping robot!

I received Scooba 450 as a newly-married gift from my mother-in-law, and it works perfectly to keep my house clean. I will recommand it to husbands and wives who work all day and are lazy to clean off their rooms.

Useless in Dry areas of the country

The theory behind this unit is to lay water everywhere then come back and clean it up. In dry areas of the country, the water simply evaporates. When you empty the "dirty water" there is no water because it evaporated before the unit could get to it....
