Its a very good vacuum for the money and I am sure we will get greart use out of it for years to come.  Debthinks its easier the an upright and great for doing stairs.  I like the HEP filter bags that are in use.

I bought this vacuum for my church and another one for my cleaning company. These vacuums are perfect, very powerful and can take a beating from normal day wear and tear.

Kenmore Vacuum three and a half stars

Floor attachment fell apart.  It is poorly made.  (See comments of others under the replacement part.)  Electric cord return is too strong.  It caused the wires to pull out of the plug.  There is a poor connection in mine so I need to step on the hose...
