Nice cold air

Bought this A/C unit to help my central AC. I live in Atlanta and it has been 110F+ for 11 days straight. I installed this sucker in the back bedroom of my house and really seems to help out.

Unit works just fine, and is suprizingly (sp?) quiet for 10000+ BTU's

The window sleeve, and bifolds for the sides are just HORRIBLE!!! This unit is made to fit into a windows that has a sill, all my windows in my new house DO NOT! I rigged it in, and all seems OK. Used lots of silicone

Works great but install was difficult

LG LWHD1006R - You'll need to cool off after installation

This unit is reasonably priced and I have found after a day of operation it works efficiently and is in fact quieter than my other similarly sized Frigidaire. Installation is a battle though, and I truly question whether LG actually stands for Language...

Seems to be quieter than many other AC units of similar size.

Installation instructions wrong and confusing. User manual confusing as well.
