iRobot has released the new Roomba 560 Vacuuming robot, and this latest version has many improvements over prior models....

Purchased this today, own older model

Misleading! What exactly comes with this purchase ; Is it ; 1 x iRobot Roomba 560 ; 1 x Self-charging Home Base ; 1 x Power Supply (3 hour charge time) ; 1 x Brush Cleaning Tool ; 1 x Rechargeable Battery ; 1 x Extra Filter ; Or is it B ; Roomba 560...

I bought this with low expectations as a vacuum cleaner but high expectations as a fun toy. I was right about the entertainment value but wrong that it would not be an effective vacuum cleaner - it does an awesome job.

Reliable, does a good job vacuuming, good object avoidance and navigation back to the recharging station

Small dustbin and brushes get clogged with pet hair. Both are probably a reflection of my housekeeping skill more than a problem with the Roomba

Quick error fix

The problem might be solved by lubing the yellow bushing, but I haven't tried it.

Saves you a bunch of time on vacuuming and does a decent job

I have 3 roombas and two of them started giving me errors. The error message was always "open roomba's brush cage and clean brushes". I cleaned the brushes so much that they were spotless, but I kept getting the same error. I notices that one of the...

Good Buy

Looked like brand new. No issues with battery like others have posted. Worth the newegg price. New is over $100 more. Amzn referb is over $50 more.

It cleans hardwood well and is fun to watch. Performs as it should. Very happy with newegg price and what I got for it. Considering buying a second one for upstairs

It has a problem vacuming my oriental rugs because the pattern is dark black and beige/pink. It thinks the black parts of the rug are a cliff or ledge so it thinks it is stuck at times. I need to find a way to disable that sensor or make it less sensitive

Thanks Newegg for the good price on a seemingly new Roomba, caught it with a coupon...Thankful for my cleaning helper.

Keeps dust bunnies at bay, no more creepy crawly spiders and other insects. Really amazed at how much trough time this robot removes in the way of dust and other assorted bits that wind up on the floor. Sometimes run 2x per day to keep up or miss a...

Little turning sweeper you see on the side is fastened into plastic and concerned about that stripping out. Hair does get underneath the yellow part and have to take apart to keep it working properly. Would rather do this than vaccum the old fashioned...

Be prepared to never go back

My favorite purchase in years. Only marginally more expensive than DIY vacuum cleaners, so even the price is no longer an excuse to not have one. Once you go roomba, you never go back

Expensive parts, but most vacuums filters are expensive. I use can air to air out my filters and extend their life considerably

Roomba Ruins a good thing!

They should have simply renamed the model and market it as a different dumbed down model. Yet they confuse the consumer by leaving the same model that is functionally different than the previous ...and not in a good way, it should have improved.

Earlier model with the lighthouse electronic technology worked for my home environment. But the same model dumbed down the features

I purchased a Roomba 560 and it came with electronics that ; made real sense. Lighthouses that allowed the unit to clean ; one room, move to the next and then clean the next room. I ; needed another to make life simpler, so I purchase another ; unit...

Still Doing its Job

Make sure you leave your floors cord free before every use. (Its managed to gather my ironing cord & a surround system cord in the corner of my living room) -Always be thorough when cleaning it after a job well done, what you put into cleaning it is...

Paid only 189.99 for it in May 2010 and its currently doing just as well a job as it did when I first received it ; Personal Time Saver ; Its a very thorough machine so it's not necessary for me to keep a watchful eye or wonder if its doing what it...

My poor plants have suffered a couple times for my failure to put the vines in a place the vacuum could not reach, so the roomba has managed to tear them apart a few times ; Doesn't have an internal positioning system in relationship to its docking bay...

GREAT timesaver but requires maintenence and $$$

I am now on my 7th robot, started out with a basic Roomba almost 4 years ago. Purchased a 530 almost two years ago followed that up with another 530 and recently bought a 560. First if you are considering buying a Roomba there is 1 MAJOR thing you...

quiet (for a vac) ; does a good job ; gets unstuck from wires and carpet fringe ; can climb onto thick carpets ; parts are all divided into "modules" so if a part fails you simply unscrew that module and replace it, very easy to do ; Rommba's customer...

1. takes getting used to ; This is one of those items that you need to get yoruself in the habit of using daily. If you use it daily it makes your life easier but if you wait till your floor is dirty then it generally misses alot of stuff ; 2. you have...
