When bagless is not a positive

The cleaning part is great. The maintenance part is terrible. The filter elements are not cheap either.

The WindTunnel Bagless vacuum has plenty of suck. No issues there. It really does a good job of cleaning carpet. The accessory hose has worked well over the past year of use. No kinks or bends in the hose

This is a case where being bagless is not a positive. Instead of bags this vacuum relies on a filtering element. This element needs to be replaced every 4-6 months in my household (3 kids). In order to make the most of the filter, it needs to be shaken...
