We bought a Vax Power 6 vacuum cleaner, and my wife and I think it is very good for the money , The maximum power is 2000 watts, which is more than enough.

Veru powerful, easy to clean and handle

Great vacuum cleaner, doesn't hook up on furniturne like it's round, red colleague. Amazing adjustable suck, on full power on our carpet, couldn't actually move the head! Lifted all the dog hair, no problem. Tube and hose reaches right up the stairs...

After reading loads of review for this item i was disappoited with my purcahse for the simple reason that the first time i use it the nozzle broke. Its all in plastic and i dont recommend using it on carpet. Also it was quite noisy
