We previously had a Dyson, and I can honestly say that this Vax is by far better than our old Dyson. GThe suction is great and the carpets have never looked better

The only bad thing which I could say about this is the hose doesn't stretch very far so I have to take the hoover up the stairs with me, rather than leaving it at the bottom and working up. Overall though very good
