Works well but overall poor design

This vacuum has great potential, however really falls short. When you start using it, you can not believe the power that it has. It really impresses from the beginning. After the first room, there will be a ton of dirt in the bagless part of the ...

Nice chord

Poor filtering system

Want to burn up $300?

Nice design. The dirt cup is easy to empty. Loved the scented filters.

Poor suction! Clogs often. Burns up & smells BAD, which counteracts the great scented filters!

Does Not Suck! I'll stick with my old vacuum.

I bought the Vax X5 Bagless exactly 1 year and 2 days ago at Best Buy (glad that I bought the 4 year performance warranty). The excuse to buy it was that my 5 (or 6) year old WindTunnel Upright had a broken wheel; I didn't feel like carrying it up and ...

Looks stylish, convenient retractable cord, great smelling scented secondary HEPA filters (available).

Messy dirt cup, POOR SUCTION, hard surfaces-USELESS, Did I mention IT DOES NOT SUCK?!!!!!!!!!

Worst vacuum I ever used

This vacuum moves the dirt around on the carpet, but does not pick it up.

Hard-pressed to think of any, since it does not do the main thing a vacuum is supposed to do.

Very weak suction.

I was a believer...for about 9-10 months.

Retractable cord, scented exhaust filters, easy to use.

Will lose suction in time.

There's no vacuum in Vax.

Attractive design. Handy attachments. The retractable hand wand is a nice touch.

Failed to meet advertised performance. After a year it fails to lift dirt.

Does a great job

Had an expensive, Riccar 8850 and thought it did a good job.

Deep cleans carpets. Lifetime Hepa filter is great. You can see how much dirt and 'stuff' is removed. Easily cleaned. Retractable cord is quite long.

Powerful motor is noisy. Tube for 'cleaning wand' is a 'pain'. Attachments do not stay 'attached'! That flexible connector (for the small upholstery and stair cleaner) is a joke and could use Viagra.

This vacuum sucks,.....in a good way!

Remember when you had to buy bags for vacuums? Remember forgetting which type and model# of bag you needed while standing in front of the vacuum section at your local store? Remember wondering when you last changed your bag? Or better yet wondering how...

VAX really does suck more than a Dyson!!!

Great suction, great mobility, great attachments, lightweight.

Ugly orange/gray color scheme (but some may like that!)
