Good for a while

Just two of us(and we winter in Florida) though;t "perfect, time for a smaller front loader" well its ok but since 2004 it has been repaired twice this last time for a "YOKE" litterally had to take the machine apart and rebuild it. Luckily I have...

Motor died after 13 months on the second replacement!

This is my second Sears / Frigidaire front load washer in 5 years.  The previous one died after about 4 years from a computer board malfunction.  I had a local dealer send a repair guy out and the cost to replace the circuit board was more than the...

Not durable with moderate usage. Broke beyond reasonable repair.

Have had washer for 4 years. Household of two adults, so we aren't doing a lot of laundry or kids clothing.  The drum where you place the clothing came unattached from the bearings.  The estimate to repair is $400-500.  So, I may as well buy a new one.

Nice but doesn't last

The washer was nice while it worked.  Our first one lasted 5 years and one week (good thing we didn't get the 5-year extended warranty).  It would have cost more to repair it than buy a new one so we went with the similar Kenmore model (due to extreme...

Lasted 11 years, looking to buy another one now.

I've had this washer for 11 years and have had zero problems up until now but I think it was my fault. Like all front loaders you should fill them full before using them. Half loads won't allow them to balance correctly. A few years ago after my...

lasted 2-1/2 years

I've had this washer for 2-1/2 years. It doesn't work now because the circuit board is bad. It's going to cost $359 to fix. Mold has a tendency to build up in the drawer and the softener dispenser gets clogged easily. I have kept an old toothbrush...

Good for what it is but beware.

We purchased this machine in mid 2004. The 1st machine never spun. The circuit boards were no good. A repairman came out a week after delivery and replaced a circuit board and ran away before the 1st spin because he knew it ...

Efficient, economical, quiet, leaves clothes almost dry.  No digital electronics to fail.

Small soap/bleach tray, prone to circuit board/computer problems, cheap pulley design, tub will fail.
