Stay away!

Stay away from this machine. GE markets it as 'colossal' capacity and the instruction manual indicates it can be loaded with clothes up to the top holes in the basket, but UNTRUE. It will only handle clothes up about 1/4 to 1/3 of the height of the...

Quiet and energy saving

Does not wash large loads or large items

This Model Bought from LOWES is a Piece of JUNK!

I bought this washer from lowe's 14 months ago and it is already dead! Because I did not buy an extended warranty and never have for any appliance I have ever owned, I am out nearly $500.00 for this machine. It stopped agitating and spinning. Lowe's...

If you like to waste your money, this is the washer for you

It lasted 14 months and died

In the Nick of Time

I researched this washer on line - wanted an Energy Saver model, and this was the most reasonably priced. It's very quiet, which is nice, but hey - it's a washing machine. Not terribly exciting unless it's broken, which my old one was. The thing I was...

Good product, SLOW delivery

New washer does a great job; maybe a little noiser than I had anticapated. Had to get used to all the different cycles and wash options. Biggest problem was getting it delivered - was promised in one week and finally arrived in 3 weeks.

Beware of GE and Lowe's policy

I bought GE washer WJRE5550HWW (so called "highly recommended") from Lowe's. It was dead on arrival. It would not drain and would not spin. Eight days after it was delivered, I contacted Lowe's, they said they will not take it back for refund, bacause...

highly recommend the General Electric Model#: WJRE5550HWW.

Like kiralee1 (other reviewer), we bought the very similar Model#: WJRE5550HWW at Lowe's when it was on sale. We've had it for about 2-3 months and so far, we are very satisfied. It replaced a 15 year old Maytag (when they were made in Iowa).

Quiet, Energy Star, cleans well

None so far, other than having more cycle choices than we need

Great value! Great washer!

Let me say first of all, when my last washing machine died three weeks ago, I was convinced I would not find another machine in my price range (under $550) that I would be happy with. My previous machine was an old Speed Queen work horse that had an...

Energy efficient, great cleaning ability, lots of options

None really - spin time is long but worth it

Love this machine!

"We love this machine. Great big basket fits a super size load - brilliant for a family. Does a nice job cleaning clothes and we only ever use cold water - this includes my mechanic husband's work clothes as well as our infant's food stained clothes....

Really quiet!

None

Worst washer ever

"I have had this washer machine a little over a year now, and I have to already buy a new one. The tub nut keeps on coming loose. Then makes a loud rattling noise and the washer just goes crazy. Pretty much we have to screw on the nut in the middle of...

Nut comes loose when it spins
