Good points: Time remaining displayed. Keeps tumbling till load is emptied. Very good stain removal results. Drawbacks: Small visual display, a little complicated to use initially. No delay start. Failed to fit a ¾ load.

After nearly 30 years of buying cheap/middle range machines and them only lasting 5-6 years, I thought it was about time to spend some money and buy something decent. We have had 2 Miele vacuums so why not add to the collection??

Having had yet another lesser make (Zanusi) go faulty I decided to look at better quality machines as I don't think 5 years is a good enough life expectancy for a washing machine. Was slightly amazed that Miele offered a free 5 or 10 year guarantee...
