Awesome machine

I have had this machine for almost 8yrs without problems at all. The other day during a cycle, strange Harley Davidson noises began to happen. I tried to google the problem and discovered that the bearings need replacement. With only a 13mm socket and...

Quiet, efficient and easy to use.

This is a poorly designed machine as far as electricals

This washer is quieter than My old LG,but, it never does a complete cycle without shopping 2or3 times (which wastes My tank water) comes up with an error code of "FH" I took it to repair guy and he said 2 days later 'there You go its all fixed and that...

It is queit and has a good fast spin speed and gets clothes really wrung out "BUT ONLY when its in the mood" Lucky I only paid $5 for it on ebay

Most of the time it does not wring out clothes properly,it keeps coming up with error code "FH" and it then stops,so then I have to restart which wastes SO much TANK water it drives Me to tears

Absolute rubbish!

Have had my machine for just over 4 years and it is a complete heap of junk. With the money l paid for it l expected to get more than 4 years use. After 3 years it starting becoming very loud when spinning. It has now completely died with the drum...

Nothing positive l can say.

Badly designed, small items would get stuck between the rim and the door glass while washing.

Forget Whirlpool

Had it for 6 years without problem until now. Have to replace it as it has leaked internally. Considering I was a Bachelor for the first 3 years of its life I expected around 8 to 10 yr longevity out of it. Bought a Whrilpool fridge at the same time...

It was OK nothing really great about it while it lasted.

Unreliable

Excellent

I paid $1000.00 for this machine in 2004 and I cannot report ANY of the faults that the other reviewers have. My experience has been great, and if it explodes tomorrow - I would still be a happy person and thank this appliance for 7 years of faithful...

Very effective in cleaning clothes, also genuinely gentle on clothes. Quiet. Good choice of cycles. Very minimal water use.

Delay in letting you open the door after cycle is finished. It doesn't "beep" to signal that the cycle is finished. I do miss that.

OK

When I bought this machine the reviews on it were not as prolific as reviews on it (and all machines) are now. If I had read this I would not have bothered. Just replaced the machine today with a different brand that has nothing but 5 star ratings by...

Washed well no problems for 6 of the 7 years we had it.

A little noisy. Short life span for the price we paid. 12 months ago it started making weird grating noises while washing. Got the service guys in and they said it was the bearings. They called back with a price and it was over $500 to install a new...

Terrible

Before reading these reviews i thought built-in obsolescence was just a conspiracy theory. Now I'm a believer. I will not knowingly buy a Whirlpool anything again, and would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking of buying a Whirlpool washer to first...

When it works properly (seems like ages ago), it's quiet, doesn't leak, and I only have to wave at the repairman in town.

Third set of bearings have just about disintegrated. Surprised the neighbours (who are 70 m away) haven't complained about the noise; they probably just snigger and say "sounds like the neighbours have a Whirlpool!". Successive water leaks have meant...

You pay what you get. Bad design means it is bad although it is made in Germany. You can't count/depend on it if you have kids or needing a lots of washing. I should have paid $1500 in 2004 to get an Asko/Miele rather than spending 1k+ on this. I am...

It makes you happy because it is a German made machine and cheap compare to other premium branded front loading machine. A lot of helpful fault code(s) provided that you have downloaded and understand the service manual like the other reviewer(s)....

1) Overflow with too much foam(washing power) (FP fault code) has warranty repair. Shouldn't it has the 6th sense feature which will rinse thoroughly, may be only the psychic can tell. Warranty job takes 5 to 6 weeks to repair. Must be a better...

Terrible

Wouldn't touch this model at all. Due to realibility issues would stay clear of Whirlpool completely. Company doesn't reply to email complaints and staff manning phones are not at all helpful.

nothing to like

everything, rusted cabinet, noisy, totally unreliable with numerous repairs needed. unable to maintain a normal wash cycle without shutting down.

Terrible

An Australian 50 cent coin will stop this machine from working and will probably destroy the pump. It is just the right size to completely block the drain pipe. The European geniuses who designed this machine did not do their research on foreign...

Front loader

Noisy, unreliable
