Size and shape! We had a limited space to fit the machine in and the one we bought was the only one we found that was the right size. Plus, we were replacing an existing one of the same size from Whirlpool which we have been happy with

No half-load cycle ; Indicators for both cycle information and delay washing times both on the same line instead of being separate - which was very confusing to start with

I had to have a top load of this size. It fits perfectly

Rinses better than my old machine (Zanussi) ; Good for older persons, not having to bend down to put clothes in ; As it is narrow, it fits in extremely well with my small kitchen ; Easy to use

Only has cold fill, but this is not a big problem for me
