Dying a slow death

Having read some other reviews I guess we're lucky - I bought this about 5 years ago and it is still running after a fashion. It just keeps trying and trying to drain at the end of the spin cycle and may keep trying forever but after 5 hours or so we...

Same as everyone else..

Rust under the control panel, very loud, long wash cycles, clothes come out smelling musty. Keeps saying the filter is clogged. Very hard to drain when the pump isn't working and the washer is still full! We've only had this washer for about 6 years...

Really Bad

top loaders, at least then I'll be able to wash my comforter (I was told by sales staff it would take a comforter with no worries, it does not), and do a decent load size. I also find it disappointing that it does not take the higher rating of clothes,...

Still kicking on

Have had the washer for at least 7 years, use the machine at least four times a week. Rusting is an issue that has started over the last year and foam is starting to leak from the detergent dispenser during the initial wash. The wash cycle is still...

Disappointing...very

So that's 7 years for an outlay of $1100. Hmmm.... So now I'm looking for a more reliable machine - do they exist??? When I ask in the shops, they all say 'machines are not built to last any more than about 5 years' - that's just outrageous.

Waste of time and money

After 3 years it died. It was so loud during spin my neighbourhood complained, one load took 2-3 hours to complete and mold and awful smell was a huge problem. It cost more to fix than replace. I'm glad these aren't sold in major stores anymore,...

Good little front loader

This machine washed our clothes economically and efficiently. We only ever used the quick wash setting and it did as good a job as any we've ever had. Those who have trouble with their models make me wonder if they follow the guidelines for correct...

Worst Machine Ever

Absolutely garbage. broke in less then 2 years, the board fried itself. After replaced the board, less then 1 year now it wouldn't drain!! Never by a Whirlpool.

Avoid At All Cost

It's a user unfriendly machine. Once you select the program and press the start button you can't open the door in the middle of the program even after all water is drained. It's very annoying. That's the start. After 1 year the machine program takes...

Some problems but still working

OK, yes, residual water caught in the door will drip down the face of the machine if you don't wipe it and this will start rusting the machine. The detergent bin is poorly made and both clips broke but it still works. But in terms of resilience, the...
