Front loading washers are GREAT!!

If you don't have a front loading washer, get one. You're clothes will be much cleaner, and you will save on your water bill too! We can wash all our washable KING size bedspreads in this! It' great!

AVOID THIS PRODUCT

I bought this washer about 4 months ago. It took 3 service visits to stop leaking, and then the motor controller died. Even one of the service techs told me that Whirlpool products were not made with the quality they still charge you for. I am very...

Extrem;y happy with set A++++

I'm extremely happy with this set of washer and Dryer. So far no need to pre soap with anything and it gets cleaned on the 1st try. It's a energy saving product and it shows on my first wash. Happy Happy. Thank you Kenmore. And Sears, thank you for the...

Not what I had hoped for

Thought a front loader would be better than the top loader (it looks better), but experienced problems with it being "off balance" with my very first load. Since the load only consisted of 1 set of twin sheets, I was shocked to hear something like a...

frustration

I have used the front load washers for several years. After we moved, our Kenmore that we LOVED was damaged and I was talked into replacing it with the whirlpool. What a mistake. It gets mildew in the rubber ring that is ridiculous to clean and smells...

Okay washer, but there were problems

We purchased this Whirlpool washer about 7 months ago in May 2008.  The one we have is WFW8400TW02 (white, bought in Canada).  It washes about 4 loads of average weight/size per week (not heavy use).

Uses little water and detergent on normal cycles.  Can clean small to large loads

Design and/or manufacturing deficiencies   Two repairs within 7 months was a big
