Hotpoint Ultima 1400 Spin WF840

First Hotpoint washer I have had and it is excellent compared to my old machine. Clothes are very dry when they come out and there are enough programmes for every domestic use.

We bought this as our old machine died suddenly, which isn't fun when you use terry nappies.

After a bit of fuss about delivery I got the machine and its great. Does what its supposed to do.

This was a replacement for our Hotpoint washing machine that finally gave up the ghost after 13 years and only one call out for repair. If this machine performs as well I will be extremely pleased. Instructions provided easy to read and understand....

Superb design, outstanding garment cleansing capacity, brilliant efficiency. Clothes are really well-cared for and its programs are very well-thought through. A great appliance. Top marks.

The product is good, however the buttons turn easily so quite often the spin has been turned off. also the power button switches on and off easily so the machine will start and stop, you have to make sure no one brushes past otherwise you could be...

How excited can you get about a washer? I'm not that sad but it washes well , leaves the clothes quite dry after the spin and has enough little lights to inspire my husband to wash. Hurrah

Took longer to wash but more economical in the long run I believe. Didn't have to use hot water for heavy soiled whites and delicate coloureds. Quiet to run compared to my last Hotpoint Washing Machine of 10 years!
