Please read this warning and technical review!!!

Don't buy the Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600S (or any of it's relatives). You will be truely sorry in a few years. I am a retired engineer. Our first 2 Whirlpool washers lasted about 14 years each, surviving heavy family use...

Huge capacity. The unrivaled durability of Whirlpool.

Great washer for large loads; the plate at the bottom of the washer that agitates to clean the clothes allows you to fill the washer with more laundry than any other model.  It showers the dirty laundry with sudsy water and gently agitates to clean...

Dead after 2 1/2 years!

Our Whirlpool Cabrio (WTW6600) worked great for about a year and a half then started getting louder and louder in the spin cycle when the tub got up to speed. Eventually, at full rotational speed, it sounded like you were standing next to an ...

While it worked, it was a great product. Very efficient and economical to opperate

It started dying after 18 to 20 months and eventually died after 30 months

Buyer Beware

Both the best and worst ever purchased. Best: This washer is the best I've had for cleaning large loads. Clothes come out cleaner with this machine than standard agitation units. It uses little water and the clothes only ...

Great Washer

This is the best washing machine I've ever used. I have recommended it to all of my friends who are in the market. I do feel it is a bit pricey at the moment, but the price is sure to drop over time as competition kicks in.It holds almost double the...

3 stars

Had our Cabrio for about a year now and have some concerns. First, towels come out smelling stale. Once they smell, time to get new ones because you can't get the odor out. Second, when it goes on spin, it sounds like a jet engine starting up. I know...
