Best buy for lower-end network cameras

I use network cameras to remotely monitor my company's server rooms and also use them at home. We bought several AXIS 2100 and we love them. Relying on PC-connected webcams had just been a mess. With a network camera, AXIS-style, you just connect it...

Easy to install and useExcellent color image quality Light sensitivity

Less good for slower 56K modemsFor storing video, software neededIndoor

Axis 2100 - network camera

It's a really nice network camera. Setup is real simple and it works great with my ADSL connection, I can have the camera live on the net! Password protected of course.

Direct ethernet connection. Superb image quality. Running linux - but not complicated.

More expensive than a webcam. But worth it.
