The C300 1.3 megapixel webcam from Logitech is easy to set up and use and can take software enhanced still images of up to five megapixel quality.

Don't buy this camera

 

I have had this camera for about 18 months installed on a Windows 7 x64 bit machine and have had continuous freezing, poor quality vid and software that does not work. Visit the Logitech website support forum and search c300 and you will see that many...

Poor software/drivers. Problems known by Logitech for over a year and still not fixed. Useless with Skype!

Lots of upmarket webcams out there but seriously most of them aren't necessary. I'm very happy with the purchase - though it could be priced about $10 cheaper - and it does the job perfectly. I've used it for a week now for family chat and work...

Great quality. Even when the screen is maximised - I have a 21" wide screen - I don't notice much pixelation. No noticeable lag with the transmission and frame rate either. No need for a mic either. Picks up uni-directional sound really well.

Probably just the price? I bought it for $48 in JB Hifi Maribyrnong.
