"tried new driver, reinstall, trying it on another computer; could not get Windows XP on either machine to recognize the webcam's microphone. Going to return it."

"This webcam is ideal for laptop users. No crystal-clear resolution but enough for everyday needs. Software has a number of useful functions including special effects. USB connection cable is too short though."
