Though the Live! Cam Optia AF isn't the image-quality champ, it scores with its fun, practical software bundle. It's the one webcam equipped for more than just videoconferencing.

Clairty if outstanding - if it only worked with Vista correcly. Have downloaded drivers from everywhere with no consistent success. Works fine with XP.

The higher the resolution, the slower the frame rate. The highest resolution has a framerate of 3 fps. The creative live software stopped detecting my webcam after about a week of use. It still works with messaging programs, but not with the software...

Overall, a disappointment. Upside: works with Vista 64. Downside: autofocus feature continually hunting, not the greatest low light performance, and no way to preview using the included control software.

'Nough said. The VF0280 works great for me. I'm really really happy I got mine, and my girlfriend is too. Chatting with friends, skype, capturing video for editing...it's all easy and great quality. I've had nothing but positive experiences.

Definitely does not support HD recording... If it does it is at 5FPS and that is not video by any standard ; Would not initiate when using Live Messenger
