One of the better products

I have tried many of the D-link line and found the 900 series to work fairly well. The video quality is not as good as I would like to see, but it is a cheap model also. I will also warn others to stear clear of the DCS 5300W series ... Expand full review

Easy to setup

lack of support for problems

Video recorder does not work and Camera looses IP all the time.

This camera is the worst among all I've reviewed. The sad part is that I have 6 of them. I called customer support and it only got worse because the level 1 support was practically useless. I called Level 2 and was on hold for over 35 minutes. I ......

Cheap and plentiful

Does not work

Mediocre camera; software is even worse

Camera is so so. Forget it working wirelessly unless maybe line of sight of the router/access point. Just because you can use a laptop via WiFi at your proposed location does NOT mean the camera will talk to the router there. Picture quality ok in...

cheap but you get less than you pay for

Monitor/control software incredibly bad

DO Not Buy these cameras, product and support a joke

Save your money, buy from Hawking as they are a much better service and product

Price was but then here you got what you pay for

Camera overheats (this is something you are supposed to leave on for extended periods. I felt ripped off from D-link , support and their dis-continuation with no recourse and finally poor grainy picture. I will not buy anything from D-link again

D-Link DCS-5300W

This item is a discontinued model from D-Link and I knew it when I bought it. The seller has been helpful and D-Link email tech support has been helpful also, albeit rather slow in response. Yet, I have not been able to get it working wirelessly. I...

work well, durability issues.

I bought 2. VERY pleased with setup and operation. After 2 years, one of the PTZ motors stopped working. I would LOVE these cams if they lasted longer. One feature that I cant live without is that I can view the cams on my Windows Mobile cellphone. Had...

D-Link DCS-5300 320 x 240 MAX Resolution RJ45 10/100 Fast Ethernet Internet Camera

Make sure to update the firmware to v1.06 since there is an issue with Microsoft Silverlight and IE. I had to the firmware from the D-Link Australian site.

When it works, it works well. The software that was available when it was new is/was awful. The latest software, D-ViewCam 2.03, runs great and was VERY easy to setup. Works so well now that I'm thinking about getting a few more D-Link cameras

D-Link's support is horrible on their website. Firmware is not the latest on their site. Does not work with any other browser than IE
