Gear Head Webcam 1.3MP Motion with Pan & Tilt By Gear Head

I bought this for a gift and I am disappointed to find out once it was uploaded with pictures it was really hard to see the pictures unless you held it at an angle. The screen also scratches very easy.

Useless instructions

Picture quality is ok. Come with basic coversion program to install/sync the pictures to the viewer (program is installed on key chain picture viewer). Plug & play with no software to install on your computer

There is no "completely" turn off switch. You can shut the pictures off and it goes to a date/time screen. After 1 days it is out of power and you have to reset the date and time-everytime that happens. The pictures remain, but everything else resets....

Correction to previous review. Finally got photos on the device. See Cons. Device will also transfer photos from USB thumb drive

The photos must really be on your computer, they cannot be on your new HP MediaSmart server or any network device. Accountant Wife had to show computer guru how to get the device to work

watch out. This is a good for the money Digital frame. But you cannot use SDHC cards in these. I have only found one card from Transcend 4GB SDHC card that will work. I boought 4 as gifts and 4 Scandisk 4GB SDHC cards and had to buy 4 2GB SD cards...

Started the RMA process with Gearhead and they just denied it since only one pixel is out on the unit. The pixel is blue and it totaly is viewable when looking at photo's. Product is junk and the support service is awful. I will never buy anything...
