The Quickcam E1000 is an OK webcam if all you wish to do is take a few stills for fun or use it via Skype or MSN etc to see who you're talking too. I never found trailing images an issue and while the image was quite dark initially, that was easily...

Was a first web cam buy, poor web cam images lots of pauses and trailing images. Would not recommend.Spend a bit more get better, I would think most people would be unhappy with this product.
