Great quality images. Stand allows the camera to placed almost anywhere

No tripod adaptor

The Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro is a great webcam for those looking to replace the long-gone iSight. If it had a tripod adaptor, it would be perfect for hobbyist stop-motion animators.

Built in light sensor blows out image in normal lighting forcing frame rate to 15fps too. Tested 640x480 and black shirt, face is washed out , frame rate 15fps. Hold white sheet of paper and frame goest to 30fps and image darkens. Blowing out the...

Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac

Called Logitech, and was told that there is no way to turn on, access or use the camera except from within certain programs (iChat and Skype). Useless for streaming to other sites. Returning the camera; too bad, because it was exactly what I wanted...

Plug it in and the clarity and sound get kudo's from your i-chat and Skype friends.

I purchased the Logitech 960-000254 QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac to use with my older 12" PowerBook G4 and the results were wonderful. After plugging it in I was prompted by I-Chat for appropriate settings and once configured it all worked flawlessly....

Does what it does simply, efficiently and with excellent visual and audio clarity

Worked out of the box. iChat recognized it right away

The iChat picture has frozen intermittantly (twice), but the audio continued. Not sure if it is a camera or wireless home network issue
