I purchased this item for my wife along with a LED Monitor. At first I had a problem getting the microphone to work and when I finally did the picture started acting up. After being on for approx. 5 seconds the picture was totally distorted with white...

I bought this to use with Skype as it has a built in mic. As far as I am concerned it is ideal, and at the price you can't ask for more.

Easier than expected to set up. Picture and sound quality excellent. Only problem at the moment is balancing the camera on a lap top edge but as long as the camera is not knocked it's fine.
