Cameras are good for daylight or good lighting conditions. Poor to no light the IR lights are to bright for close up items but not good enough for distant things in it's view. Set up was good.

I was unable to keep the system as my ISP provider does not support the equipment they provided and I was unable after 5 hours of phone support and 2 level 2 techs to open the ports I needed for remote access on my Android phone or laptops from another...

Great product even if from China. IMO, not enough user access control as to which user gets to see which cameras. As with all software from China, the user interface needs some work. Instructions needs a little help too as they don't go in to enough...

MAYBE OK FOR INDOORS BUT JUNK FOR OUTDOORS

I had this thing running in 5 minutes. You will need special connector adapters if your cameras have RCA cables. Most security cameras have twist-lock connectors (Which this DVR has).

I have bought two system and one system had a bad cable.

Installation was easy and the operation of the system is user friendly. For the money it does more than expected.

the system is easy to set up and get going. It has lots of options on the recorder for playback,display and controls. Te weekest part of the system is the camaras. they have good night vision but color washes out and viewing angle is only 40 degrees so...

Does what I want, and I could not believe the price! Very easy to setup if you are familiar with the technology.

Easy to install and a great value overall. I would by again if I had to move into another house. It may not be the top of the line $5,000 system but it's nice to know we have eight additional eyes watching over my family day and night. Good job Night Owl.
