Awesome

I install security cams and this one is the easiest setup (you get what you pay for) and most reliable one I have used. No other company has as user friendly and secure a setup as this cam has.

Don't use with HDTV

I still swear by these Panasonic cameras but find it awkward in a HDTV world not to be able to find a smooth 30 FPS full screen robotic camera.

Camera setup fast and did as my previous BL-C10a V1.25 ; I was testing in minutes and was able to do pan easily ; Picture was large and frame rate fast on dedicated switch ; Direct video was connected and viewed on composite TV ; Multiple cameras were...

Adding an inexpensive 4 way stereo switch causes the video to revert to disabled when another source is selected ; Using the browser connected through Apple Mini with HDMI to LG 42 inch causes loss of smooth frame rate and is pixelated ; Firefox could...

Great hardware, horrible software

The hardware has worked flawlessly. Incredible resolution for an IP camera at this price

The included software really is horrible. Everytime you go to the camera over the web, you have to agree to the license agreement again (really tiresome about the 30th time). It installs activex controls to view the video in such a way that they have...

Great camera for the price

I want to add at least three more to my setup for whole house monitoring. With POE, it's a snap to hang the camera where needed and not worry about having to be near an electrical outlet. You could even put it outside to monitor the doors and visitors...

Easy to set up. Once you have it up and running on your browser, it's fairly intuitive to make configuration changes. It will work under Firefox but you lose the volume adjustment box. Under IE everything works.

Can't think of too many. Nice camera for the money. Resolution a little grainy under low light but that's to be expected and not nearly as bad as the under $100 cameras. Has a low level night mode.

Solid camera

Overall, this is a *great* camera for the price, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

640x480@30fps (over LAN, anyway), good picture quality, power over Ethernet, motion sensor, built-in microphone/speaker connection for two-way audio, SD card slot, integration with alarm system, pretty good web UI, really inexpensive camera for this...

Does not come set up to use DHCP by default, does not support non-Windows OS for viewing of live video (requires ActiveX control), no batch download of picture or video
